Memory & Dissociation
Disruptions in memory, awareness, or identity — often learned responses to overwhelming stress.
This section covers codes related to memory loss, identity disruption, and dissociation — not because the brain is broken, but because at some point it had to improvise. These are experiences where memory, awareness, or sense of self loosen their grip in order to get someone through something overwhelming. Sometimes that strategy outlives the danger. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, it counts.
