This cap looks like it's already lived a life. That's the point. The washed-out vintage effect means it shows up pre-weathered, pre-softened, and pre-broken-in — kind of like you after a decade of therapy. It's 100% cotton twill, unstructured, low-profile, with an antique brass snap buckle that says "I have personal style" and also "I might know what pizazz means." (Nobody under 30 says pizazz anymore. We're saying it anyway.)

Six panels. Six eyelets. One embroidered F60.4. Available in 6 hat colors and 15 thread colors — that's 90 possible combinations if you want to do the math, or roughly the number of times your brain recalculates a simple decision.

F60.4 — Histrionic Personality Disorder. You feel things in widescreen and the room can usually tell. Being seen is not vanity for you — it is how you check that you still exist. This code is for the people whose emotions arrive at full volume and whose discomfort with being ignored has been called every name except 'survival strategy.' The hat does not turn down the dial; it just gives the spotlight a slightly better stage. It pairs well with deep feelings, dramatic exits and a complete refusal to apologize for taking up space.

They have so many choices and possible combinations. So I made a NPD ICD hat in the same color scheme of a populist political movement that rhymes with “Tag ah”. People with NPD are people too, except for the one who thinks this song is about him. The hat’s build quality is high, the embroidery is solid and it seems like it could last me at 3 more years, at least. I own a couple more of these hats, and they all look good and feel empowering to wear.
